How do you work?

I use an integrative therapeutic approach which combines various therapeutic modalities, person-centred therapy and counselling.
Firstly, the aim of counselling and addiction therapy is to help you set achievable and empowering short-term goals so you can manage your issues and addiction and develop new coping strategies for your emotional states.
Secondly, I will help you develop adaptive skills so you can recover physically as well as emotional health.
Thirdly, we will start exploring the source or cause of your emotional states and addiction.
Lastly, we will work together to set long-term goals which include rebuilding damaged relationships, accepting responsibility for actions and releasing shame and guilt as well as moving forward with clarity, purpose and zest for life.
My professional ethos is to help you grow and thrive and use problems as opportunities to create a new future for yourself.
