Yes, I do. I offer telephone and online counselling and addiction therapy via Skype/Zoom, Whatsapp, FaceTime and mobile.

Skype, WhatsApp sessions

In response to clients who can’t travel or are based abroad, I offer a powerful and safe framework for online therapy and mentoring sessions. The results have been exceptionally well received. My experiences have shown that both therapy and mentoring can be easily achieved via online sessions and success rates from the online sessions have been very positive. Travel time and cost benefits make this an increasingly popular way of doing therapy and mentoring. Using either Skype/Zoom or FaceTime/Whatsapp or just telephone, I create a safe space for therapy and mentoring to work. Obviously, safeguards are put in place for the rare event if wifi disconnects. Please call me on  +44 7737 745 684 or email me to arrange an online therapy session. More about online counselling and therapy

Navigating the Choice Between Online and In-Person Therapy: Personalised Considerations
Determining the most suitable therapeutic approach is a nuanced endeavour, influenced by individual preferences and circumstances. As a practice grounded in physical clinics, we advocate for the inherent merits of in-person therapy. This traditional format establishes a tangible foundation for nurturing the therapeutic relationship, fostering a deeper connection between you and your therapist. Many clients find the physical presence of their therapist conducive to fostering trust and openness, essential elements in the therapeutic process.

Conversely, there exists a cohort of individuals who gravitate towards the convenience and comfort of online therapy. Within the familiar confines of their own homes, they often experience a sense of security that fosters a greater willingness to engage openly. Furthermore, the accessibility and flexibility afforded by online therapy resonate strongly with many clients.

Ultimately, the decision rests upon your personal preferences and needs. Should your preferences evolve over time, we are committed to facilitating seamless transitions between online and in-person modalities to best accommodate your evolving therapeutic journey. Our priority remains steadfast in tailoring your therapeutic experience to optimally support your path towards healing and self-discovery.

How do you work?

I use an integrative therapeutic approach which combines various therapeutic modalities, person-centred therapy and counselling.
Firstly, the aim of counselling and addiction therapy is to help you set achievable and empowering short-term goals so you can manage your issues and addiction and develop new coping strategies for your emotional states.
Secondly, I will help you develop adaptive skills so you can recover physically as well as mentally and emotionally.
Thirdly, we will start exploring the source or cause of your emotional states and addiction.
Lastly, we will work together to set long-term goals, which include rebuilding damaged relationships, accepting responsibility for actions and releasing shame and guilt as well as moving forward with clarity, purpose and zest for life.
My professional ethos is to help you grow and thrive and use problems as opportunities to create a new future for yourself.
You can call/text/Whatsapp me on 07737 745 684 to find out more about how I work.

What happens during the session?  What questions you might be asked?

If it’s your first therapy session ever, you might be wondering what to expect. Although you’re taking a very positive step to resolve your issues, you may still want to know what kind of questions you’ll be asked. Here’s a short list of typical initial questions.
1. Why are you seeking therapy now? What do you want to accomplish in therapy?
2. Have you had therapy before? What kind of therapy?
3. How have you been coping with your problem/s so far?
4. What’s your family background and what was it like growing up in your family?
5. Have you ever thought of harming yourself or ending your life? By law, therapists are required to ask this question with full confidentiality (see below).
6. Are you in a relationship? How connected do you feel to the people around you?

If it helps, you can write down a list of questions you have for me which will give you more clarity about your issues and what you want. You can also call/text me on 07737 745 684 to clarify how I work.
